Good hiking conditions, especially on the mowed trails (see below). Unmowed trails have tall grasses (knee high, waist high, or taller).

Mowing Report / Plans:
Mowing of the East Side trails began June 27th - look at the mowing map (below).
The Rusk County Forestry Department mowed most of the West Side trails in August. West Side trails not mowed = H-I, and Y-Z.
Most recent East Side mowing was August 9th - check back for updates.

2026-2027 Membership for BHTA Inc.
(September 1 through August 31)
Non-members: Suggested $10 donation/person/day at trailhead, larger amounts are appreciated.
Individual membership: $40/year
Family membership: $50/year
Business membership/sponsorship: $100/year (suggested amount)

The Blue Hills Trail is primarily supported through donations - we greatly appreciate your help. Donations are tax deductible, and formally recognized. All donors are valued and will be recognized on the annual banquet program and on our website. Business donations of $500.00 or more will feature your business as a premier sponsor at the trailhead.
Please consider leaving your legacy of support by including the Blue Hills Trail Association Inc in your will.
